Youth Leadership Frankfort
The purpose of the Youth Leadership Frankfort Program is to develop high school students into leaders who are informed, motivated, and committed to working toward an improved
quality of life. The goal of the program is to identify and help develop youth with leadership skills and an in-depth knowledge of the Frankfort/Franklin County community.
Today’s Potential Leaders seek to
understand the scope, complexity and interdependence of our community’s organizations and institutions. In or to find the most effective means to bring about positive change, they must
appreciate local assets, economic
sectors and the relationship among
interest groups.
In keeping with its goal of developing future leaders and improving the
quality of life in our community the Frankfort Chamber Board of Directors have established a Youth Leadership Program. Business leaders will play a major role in this program through presentations to the youth, conducting field trips to company/plan sites and as mentor advisors for the youth's individual projects.
Fostering the potential for energetic leadership brings current and future leaders together, while providing them the opportunity to develop new skills -
Learning for Today to Build for Tomorrow.
